Hello! My names Natalia Baczynski and I am a 20 year old photographer/documentary filmmaker studying Film at Edinburgh Napier! I am a first generation immigrant based in Edinburgh/Glasgow to two Polish parents. Although originally I was born and partially raised in New York City (so that's where the accent is from incase you neet me) Generally speaking most of my work is centered around nature and places, photographing architecture and beautifully average spaces. Slavic culture is a crucial aspect to my artistic expression and being raised in Poland from ages 6-10 I have a deep connection with the Polish scenery and culture and I find that to be a reaccuring theme within my work. The beauty of natural light mixed with a beautiful setting is what I crave to capture. Photography is thrilling to me because of this unrepeatable factor; catching a moment in time that will never be repeated again. The immortilasation of moments, people and spaces through my lens is what my photography and documentaries showcase. We all are individuals existing in the same reality. I want my work to exude my soul, to demonstrate how I see and how I have felt. I want people to feel connected to the wonder of experiencing the world. As the world is walking breathing art waiting to be captured!
